CIrrus’S STATS

Name: Cirrus

Year born: 2010

Rescued from: Government holding

Favorite Ranch activity: Being with her herd mates

Short bio: Cirrus is a pinto mare from the Warm Springs Herd Management (HMA) in Oregon in 2020. She was set to be a part of a dangerous sterilization research study until a lawsuit stopped the procedures. Cirrus has the most extraordinary marking on the right side of her neck, a horse's head -- whose mane merges with her own. When we released Cirrus out to be with our wild herd, the light came back into her eyes. She is named for the wispy cirrus clouds that signify a change in the weather.

Sponsoring Cirrus helps fund her ongoing care at Montgomery Creek Ranch. You’ll be providing life-changing support to this wonderful mustang. As a sponsor, you’ll also receive updates on her progress and an invitation to visit her.
