The drive to Montgomery Creek Ranch sets your imagination in motion.  You are immediately traveling down and into the old California West.  Vast rolling ranch lands with a backdrop of the Mendocino Mountains.  When you approach the Stoneyford Gorge Dam you want to get out and go mining for gold.

Montgomery Creek Ranch’s Day at the Ranch was an absolute perfect afternoon. The food, the friends, the wine and of course the rescued wild horses and burros whose lives have been forever changed by calling Montgomery Creek Ranch home.

I loved learning about the great work being done by people who have dedicated their lives to making a difference, and watching horse trainer Cameron work with a very young filly named Louise and his commitment to giving her a fair start.

The staff at Montgomery Creek Ranch are knowledgeable and hard working, with the horses and the lands best interest at heart.

Anyone considering adopting one of these mustang will be bringing a piece of that love and dedication into their lives.
